Wastewater Treatment and Disposal

Wastewater treatment and disposal is a key topic with respect to environmental protection. Most human activities, whether domestic, industrial or institutional generate waste water flows.  Those flows need to be treated prior to being returned to the environment.

Oakridge specializes in assessing wastewater flows and disposal requirements for privately serviced developments, communal sewage systems, industrial sewage works for aggregate resource projects and specialty applications.

Wastewater treatment and disposal via subsurface systems often requires completion of a hydrogeological evaluation and impact assessment as part of the approvals process.

Oakridge is qualified to provide site characterization studies which include evaluations of terrain, soil and groundwater conditions in support of Sewage Works or Sewage System applications.  Typically, these investigations include soil surveys, groundwater quality evaluations to determine baseline conditions and impact assessments, based on critical contaminants such as nitrate and/or chloride.
