The graph (right) presents the results of a short-term pumping test (6-hour pumping duration) conducted on a test well. Data points in red indicate drawdown (recovery) in the pumped well. Also shown are apparent drawdowns in neighbouring observation wells. The pumping rate is indicated in the lower box (black symbols).
The example test was condcuted on a 6" diameter drilled well, tapping a bedrock aquifer.
The test results sugest that the test well has a very good yield potential for a typical domestic well.
