In this example, Terrain Mapping was employed to identify the site's major topographic, drainage, landform and soil features.
Each mapping element is important for determining the site's natural attenuation capacity to sustain private sewage systems.
The map also identifies locations of test wells, test pits and boreholes from the hydrogeological and site servicing study components of the project.
Important natural environment features are also illustrated.
